THE SYNOPSIS

When listening
lets someone in.

Sabrina Nolan is an online therapist drifting through a quiet, lonely life, listening to people confess the things they can’t say anywhere else.

When a young client named Andrew begins to make progress, she lets herself believe she’s finally helping someone. But his gratitude turns into attachment, and attachment into obsession.

One small boundary crossed in the name of compassion opens the door to stalking, public humiliation, and a nightmare Sabrina can’t log out of.

WHY THIS STORY MATTERS

Our lives happen
through screens.
So do our fears.

We work through screens. We build friendships online. We invite strangers into our homes through video calls. The distance between our personal and professional lives has never been smaller.

Sabrina’s greatest strength is her empathy. It is also what puts her in danger. The threat in this story is obsession, made unsettling by how possible it feels.
